Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will assist in the creation, implementation, and optimization of email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, conversions, and customer retention.
As a Junior Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow within the dynamic field of email marketing, working closely with senior team members and other departments to execute effective email strategies. Responsibilities
- Campaign Creation: Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting email content, designing templates, and segmenting email lists.
- Email List Management: Support in managing and segmenting email lists to ensure targeted and relevant messaging for specific customer groups.
- A/B Testing: Help set up and monitor A/B tests to optimize subject lines, content, CTAs, and sending times for improved performance.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor the performance of email campaigns (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and assist in creating reports to analyze effectiveness.
- Content Optimization: Assist with the creation of personalized, relevant email content that aligns with customer interests and company goals.
- Automation Support: Help set up and maintain automated email workflows, ensuring they are running smoothly and aligned with campaign goals.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Stay informed on email marketing regulations and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing team members, designers, and departments to ensure email campaigns are aligned with broader marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Yespo, Klaviyo, HubSpot, etc.).
- Basic understanding of email marketing metrics (open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit email content.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging subject lines and content.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of email marketing, with a proactive attitude and eagerness to improve.
Nice to Have
- Experience with email automation and workflows.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of email list segmentation and database management.
- Basic design skills or sense of design to create visually engaging email content.
- Previous internship or practical experience in email marketing or digital marketing.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for email template creation is a plus.
