We want everyone to be able to use kiplar.agency – including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, voice control, screen magnification or other assistive technology.
The standard we follow
We build and check the website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. These guidelines are the basis of the European standard EN 301 549 and the standard most widely used to judge websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What the website does
- Structure: every page has one main heading, headings in a logical order and landmarks, so a screen reader can move through it quickly. A “Skip to content” link comes first.
- Keyboard: everything works with a keyboard alone – the menus, the tabs, the carousels, the forms – and the focus is always visible and never hidden under the menu bar.
- Text and contrast: text has a contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background, or 3:1 for large text, and stays readable when you zoom to 200%, change the spacing of letters, words and lines, or use a screen 320 pixels wide.
- Images: images that carry meaning have a text alternative; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Motion: animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion, and moving rows of logos can be paused.
- Forms: every field has a visible label and suggests the right autofill; errors are listed in words, in the language of the page, and are announced to screen readers.
- Languages: each page declares its language – English, Bulgarian or Ukrainian – so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
How we test
Every page of the website, in all three languages, on a desktop and a phone screen, is checked automatically with axe-core for WCAG 2.2 AA. We also check by hand what tools cannot: using the website with a keyboard alone, zoom and reflow, larger text spacing, color contrast over images and gradients, and moving content. The last full check was on 18 Oct 2026.
What we are still improving
- Client videos are played from YouTube. Their captions are those YouTube provides; we are adding written captions to every video.
- The cookie banner (Cookie Script) and the spam check on the forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) come from other companies. We chose providers that support keyboard and screen reader use, but we do not control every detail of how they work.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the website is hard or impossible for you to use, please write to office@kiplar.agency. Tell us the page, what you tried to do and, if you like, the browser and assistive technology you use. We will reply and help you get the information or service you need in another way while we fix the problem.
