More bidding power. Same campaigns. No rebuild.

KIPLAR CSS changes the economics behind your existing Google Shopping Ads without forcing you to start again. More of each bid works in the auction, while your campaigns, history and control stay exactly where they are.

  • Get more from the same Shopping budget

The CSS advantage gives your existing bids more weight in the Shopping auction without requiring a higher media budget.

    • Up to 25% more bidding power compared with Google Shopping’s default CSS model
    • More room to improve CPC, visibility or traffic from the same spend
    • The advantage applies automatically once KIPLAR CSS is connected
  • Keep everything that already works

Changing CSS is not an account migration. Your existing setup keeps running while the auction mechanics behind Shopping change.

    • No new Google Ads account
    • No campaign rebuild
    • No loss of campaign history
    • Your accounts and data remain under your control
  • Add Shopping expertise behind the CSS advantage

More bidding power is useful only when the feed and campaigns know where to put it. KIPLAR can strengthen the parts of Google Shopping that determine what the advantage actually produces.

    • Product feed and title optimization
    • Merchant Center diagnostics and disapproval support
    • Product-level performance and profitability analysis
    • Google Shopping and Performance Max management

KIPLAR CSS can also be used on its own if your team already manages the campaigns.

Make the same Shopping budget work up to 25% harder.

Google Shopping’s default CSS keeps 20% of the bid before it enters the auction. With KIPLAR CSS, the full bid competes, giving every euro more auction power without increasing spend.

The 20% CSS margin translates into up to 25% more bidding power. The effect on CPC, traffic and revenue depends on your bids, competition and campaign setup.

  • 25% more bidding power

A competitor using Google Shopping may need to bid €1.00 to match the auction strength of your €0.80 bid through KIPLAR CSS.

  • More room to win with the same budget

Keeping bids unchanged gives your Shopping campaigns more auction strength, creating additional room for impressions, clicks and sales without adding media spend.

  • Or protect margin by bidding less

The advantage can also be taken as efficiency: lower the nominal bid while maintaining similar auction competitiveness.

  • The advantage is built into every eligible bid

There is no rebate to claim and no promotional credit to spend. The benefit happens before the bid reaches the Shopping auction.

Switch CSS without rebuilding your Shopping setup.

KIPLAR handles the change around your existing Merchant Center and campaigns. Your team keeps control while the CSS relationship is updated.

  1. First

We check eligibility and the current setup

We confirm the markets you advertise in, review the Merchant Center structure and check whether the account is currently represented by Google Shopping or another CSS.

  2. Next

You approve the switch in Merchant Center

KIPLAR initiates the CSS change and your Merchant Center admin approves the request. If the account is currently on Google Shopping CSS, the switch can complete immediately after approval; moving from another CSS can take longer depending on its grace period.

  3. After the switch

Your campaigns keep running under KIPLAR CSS

The existing Shopping setup stays in place while the new CSS relationship takes effect. We then monitor auction and campaign performance against the baseline and decide how best to use the additional bidding advantage.

A Comparison Shopping Service represents retailers in Google Shopping. Google Shopping is one CSS option; KIPLAR CSS is an alternative for merchants advertising in eligible European markets.

Google confirms that its own CSS deducts a fixed percentage margin before the merchant bid enters the auction. KIPLAR CSS uses a different commercial model, allowing more of the nominal bid to compete directly.

No rebuild is required. The existing Merchant Center can be switched to another CSS while your Google Ads campaigns and historical account data remain in place. The switch is approved by your Merchant Center administrator.

Google currently lists 21 CSS program markets across Europe, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania and the United Kingdom.

Merchant Center shows which CSS providers are allowed to advertise your products, and Google also provides CSS activity data. We additionally compare campaign performance against the pre-switch baseline to see how the economics change.

Yes. KIPLAR CSS can be used as a standalone service while your own team or another partner continues managing the campaigns. If needed, KIPLAR can also manage the feed, Merchant Center and Google Shopping strategy alongside the CSS.
